What is the meaning of wearing a bouquet of flowers for your wedding?
Is there reason for that, or just because flowers are pretty? I never I thought before, and I ask because when I think about it, it seems strange because there seems to be a goal. Am I missing? (And no – to offend those who bring flowers, curiosity:))
For centuries, flowers have gone through a variety of emotions and values. The roses love, lilies virtue and so on. In former marriages, brides carried herbs beneath the veil as a symbol of fidelity. Greek brides carried ivy as a symbol of endless love. Orange blossom (the world renowned wedding flower) were chosen by the Spaniards to represent the happiness and satisfaction, such as orange blossom and bear fruit at the same time. Sometimes, even before the "primitive marriage," where the fear of demons is the most popular, brides carried stinking garlands of herbs and spices to frighten evil spirits. Today, wives wear flowers in the color scheme of your wedding, bringing beauty and elegance and old world customs to your special day.
